The troubled, grieving Prince of Denmark is never far from the thoughts of Ophelia, a caretaker to Ophelia, and the Queen of Denmark. Gunderson does a masterful job re-imagining the women trapped by class, circumstances, expectations, and desire within the castle’s walls. Each, in their own way, follows the queen’s edict for women—to “obey, agree, assist”—until they absolutely do not. This play dances and duels with Hamlet, foregrounding the women in the play and re-imagining them with agency, vitality, and radical hearts eager for a more hopeful ending.

Our Venue
THE 222 is a small intimate venue. All seats are very good and have a clear view of the stage.
Seating for this concert is club style with round tables that seat four people. Seating will be assigned by the date of purchase, so the sooner you buy your tickets the closer you will be within the ticket level you purchase from.

Accessibility
THE 222 is all on ground level. There are no steps. All facilities are ADA compliant. Public parking is available on the north side of the building and along Healdsburg Ave. and Center St.

Wine and beverage service is available at THE 222 through Grapeseed Wines. Please come early to make sure you have time to get a drink and be comfortably situated at your table before the event.
Complimentary wrapped chocolates are provided at your table for most events.
No food service is currently provided.
