What Moves You? – September
September 10, 2025
Wednesday, September 10, 5:30PM
Spiritual Reflection in THE 222’s Moss Sculpture Garden, with “potluck” dinner following.
(Bring a dish to share as able, but all are welcome to stay for dinner.)
What Moves You? is a contemplative experience of shared spiritual reflection upon a sacred text.
Join us the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. as leaders from different faith traditions within Sonoma County guide us based on the practice of Lectio Divina, or “Divine Reading.” We will hear a sacred text from the leader’s tradition in a contemplative manner, three times through. After each time, we will share responses and insights.
July 9 Presenter: Susie Lipps
Susie Lipps (MA Global Leadership, Fuller Seminary) is the creator and owner of Conversations in the Vineyard, which marries her passions of leadership, metaphors, wine, and gathering people. As a leader, she understands the importance of being rooted in good soil, and inspiring others to their greatest fruitfulness. Her writing, her speaking, and her leadership is infused with a vision for sustainable flourishing as seen in the vineyard.
The daughter of missionary parents, Susie spent her childhood years in Honduras and Guatemala. After decades of leading and serving in international organizations, she is currently planted in Sonoma County, California. She and her husband, Bob, have been married over 45 years, have three amazing adult children and four adorable grandkids.
Susie loves a beautiful glass of Zinfandel wine, made from the fruit of 100-year-old vines. It’s a great metaphor for sustainable flourishing, and it’s even better when shared with friends and pizza!
