Brazilian pianist and composer Jovino Santos Neto teams up with Scott Thompson and drummer David Flores to present his Brazilian music in a piano trio format. The compositions by Jovino, Hermeto Pascoal, and Marcos Valle will serve as points of departure for inspired musical conversations among the three extraordinary players. The music will range from the lyrical to the deep grooves this trio can generate. Jovino’s personal style is a creative blend of energetic harmonies, telepathic improvisation, lyrical melodies and great ensemble playing, always inspired and informed by the colorful richness of Brazilian music. His compositions include samba, choro, baião, xote, forró, marcha and many more styles, rooted in centuries-old musical tradition while pointing to new and adventurous harmonic languages.

Our Venue
THE 222 is a small intimate venue. All seats are very good and have a clear view of the stage.
Seating for this concert is club style with round tables that seat four people. Seating will be assigned by the date of purchase, so the sooner you buy your tickets the closer you will be within the ticket level you purchase from.

THE 222 is all on ground level. There are no steps. All facilities are ADA compliant. Public parking is available on the north side of the building and along Healdsburg Ave. and Center St.

Wine and beverage service is available at THE 222 through Grapeseed Wines. Please come early to make sure you have time to get a drink and be comfortably situated at your table before the event.
