Ever wondered how a poem comes into being? Join Literary Arts Programmer Laurie Glover for an afternoon of building, shaping, and layering sentences to discover your own creative capacity! We will start with looking at images, choosing one that speaks to you, then you’ll be walked through a series of statements about the image. Through a further series of steps, you’ll discover how tiny changes affect the impact of a given sentence, and we’ll then draw on poetic forms to turn each person’s scattered thoughts into a thing of beauty.

Our Venue
THE 222 is a small intimate venue. All seats are very good and have a clear view of the stage.
Seating for this concert is general open seating club style with round tables that seat four people.
We are located at 222 Healdsburg Ave. Healdsburg, CA 95448 (707) 473-9152

Approximately 4 hours
Accessibility
THE 222 is all on ground level. There are no steps. All facilities are ADA compliant. Public parking is available on the north side of the building and along Healdsburg Ave. and Center St.
Food & Beverage Services
Wine and beverage service is available at THE 222 through Grapeseed Wines. Please come early to make sure you have time to get a drink and be comfortably situated at your table before the event.
No food service is currently provided.

We recommend this performance for ages 10 and up. Children under 5 are not admitted.
