Sound That Heals

July 25, 2025

The Science of how sound impacts the body is finally catching up with what ancient wisdom has known all along. Sound baths can reduce cortisol (the stress hormone), boost your mood and reduce anxiety, help with pain management, enhance sleep quality and support mental health and PTSD recovery.

We will be taking you on a journey through the use of drums, flute, hand pans, Koshi bells, crystal singing bowls, thumb harp, Svaram 9-bar chimes and the gong, to bring you from the beta waves (alert and focused) to the alpha waves (relaxed and creative) to the theta wave frequencies (deep meditation or dreaming) and back again.

Come and experience for yourself what the medical journals are finally publishing.

Kathryn Song has been working with Sound therapies for over 30 years because it aligns with her belief that it supports the body’s inherent ability to heal. She has given numerous personal sound healing sessions while living in Sedona, Kauai and now in California. Most recently she was asked to come to Africa, using her choice of instrument, the Monolina, to aid orphaned, wild animals in their recovery from PTSD.

Adrianne Butler is a Holistic Health Practitioner, Medical Intuitive and the founder of Mystic Academy and Healdsburg Holistic. With over 20 years of experience in trauma recovery and energy healing, she offers personal sessions that blend CranioSacral therapy, Shamanic Reiki and crystal bowls to support deep rest and realignment.

Jennifer Lee is a Holistic Massage Therapist, Clinical Herbalist and founder of Sacred Earth Wellness. She uses therapeutic touch, plant medicine, and sound to create a space for the body to heal naturally. She incorporates crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, chimes, and a biofeedback AmpCoil system. She offers grounded, intentional,  deeply nourishing, healing sessions.
