What Moves You? – October

October 8, 2025

Wednesday, October 8, 5:30PM

Spiritual Reflection in THE 222’s Moss Sculpture Garden, with “potluck” dinner following.

(Bring a dish to share as able, but all are welcome to stay for dinner.)

What Moves You? is a contemplative experience of shared spiritual reflection upon a sacred text.

Join us the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 5:30 p.m. as leaders from different faith traditions within Sonoma County guide us based on the practice of Lectio Divina, or “Divine Reading.” We will hear a sacred text from the leader’s tradition in a contemplative manner, three times through. After each time, we will share responses and insights.

September 10 Presenter: Bill Glenn

(Rev.) William D. Glenn is a recently ordained Episcopal priest presently serving as associate pastor of Church of the Incarnation, Santa Rosa. He has spent a long  career an educator, psychotherapist, spiritual director and community leader in the San Francisco Bay Area. Glenn recently retired as the chair of the board of trustees of the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, and is a co-founder, with his husband Scott Hafner, of the Center for LGBTQ and Gender Studies in Religion at the Pacific School of Religion.

Glenn holds three master’s degrees: an MDiv from the Pacific School of Religion, where he was awarded the Paul Wesley Yinger Award for Distinguished Preaching, a MA in clinical psychology from the University of San Francisco, and a MA in American Studies from Saint Louis University. He is the author of the recently released I Came Here Seeking a Person: One Gay Man’s Spiritual Journey, published by Paulist Press.
